Adding Value To People And To Yourself. It is worth it to add value to things, people, and to yourself. The greatest mistake we make sometimes is that we only realize the value of things when we let them go.  

What we need to learn, is to add value to the things and people around us while we still have them.

Adding Value To People And To Yourself

You can use your wisdom to add value to others and yourself. The Oxford English Dictionary defines wisdom as “The capacity of judging rightly in matters relating to life and conduct; soundness of judgment in the choice of means and ends.” 

Everyone has his/her own abilities. You have to recognize and make use of your abilities and resources to add value to yourself, others, and the environment. 

The value you add to things, people, and yourself is basically your decision to make. For example:  Is buying Mcdonald’s takeaway food adding value to you and your family’s health? Or is cooking a healthy meal at home adding more value to yourself and your family’s health? 

Is buying unnecessary items of clothing, toys, and gadgets going to add value to you? Or is it going to add more value to you by using that money to pay down debt or put it in a savings account?

You can add value to someone by making him or her the beneficiary of an act of kindness. 

Hermann Hesse, (Siddhartha )once said: “I have always believed, and I still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value.” 

Adding Value To People And To Yourself

Smile often to others and to yourself. Smiling to others brings happiness and comfort to people around you and also to yourself.
