Increase self-confidence by satisfying your own conscience. Your attitude towards yourself informs others on what kind of attitude to have towards you.
Self-confidence is a feeling of trust in one’s abilities, qualities, and judgment. And conscience is a personal awareness of right and wrong that you use to guide your actions to do things right. Conscience deals with our inner thoughts.
“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
Always remember that the foundation of belief is trust. Cultivating a relationship of trust with yourself is one of the most important things you can do. You can achieve self-confidence based on your thinking, not your past experiences.
There will always be things you want to do that you have never done before and if you rely on your negative past experiences to build your self-confidence, there will always be a gap in your belief that you can achieve or do it.
A good example is to have a look at a child who is learning how to walk. For a child, everything is new and a child is never scared to try the things he/she is interested in.
A child never thinks of whether he/she could walk or not, rather a child would keep on trying over and over again. He/she would fall, get up again, and repeat this cycle as many times as it takes until he/she can walk.
Like a child, we don‘t have to approach anything with hesitation or self-doubt. Release the fear that you have in your mind and reclaim your lost mindset.
Increase self-confidence by satisfying your own conscience. Be confident and always trust that you can rise and be able to achieve anything you dream of. Because the act of honoring your own inner voice increases your feelings of self-confidence.
Practice the act of doing. When you have faith in yourself and exhibit your work or whatever you’re wanting to do to the world or people around you, you create very powerful energy toward your goals.
Earn your trust that you are capable of supporting the life you want and watch how things unfold before you.
